Are heart attack symptoms different for women? Although chest pain is still the most common, other symptoms or discomfort come along with the signs. Women are more likely to have symptoms other than a chest pain when experiencing a heart attack. Since there is no real evidence that women suffer different heart attack signs, it is however true that heart disease is the number one cause of death among women.
